1. Driver Installation
Maybe your printer and computer were right all along. You have installed the printer driver yet. A good way to know this is to double check it of course, and then go get your printer manual and the CD copy of the installer if you have really confirmed that you haven’t installed it yet. However, if your printer is one of the newest models released, most probably it has that “plug and play” feature which automatically installs the printer’s program.
2. Search Online
If your package did not have any copy of the driver installer, you can go search it online and download it. Almost all printer companies make sure that they keep the printer users updated by posting the necessary driver installer programs online. You can even contact the company if you are still having troubles with it.
3. Program Difficulties
If your printer was working yesterday then it stopped functioning today, the programs in your computer maybe conflicting due to updates made. You can restore these features by applying the “restore point” setting on your desktop.
Whether the problem is on the printer or on the printer cartridge itself, you can easily troubleshoot it as long as you have the right instructions in hand.
