Installing the Sharp AL-100TD Toner in Sharp AL-2050CS Multifunction Printer

The Sharp AL-2050CS Multifunction Printer is a machine the delivers multiple functions mainly copying pages, though it also can print when you install its printer driver, and as well scan copied materials. It offers a fast copying speed of up to 20 copies per minute and delivers it first copy as fast as 8 seconds at 600 dpi printing resolution for high image quality. It also features automatic exposure adjustment that has two original modes which users can be selected: “TEXT” for text-only originals and “PHOTO” for photographs. To replace the cartridge in your Sharp AL-2050CS, here are the steps you should follow (instructions from Sharp AL-2050CS Manual):

Steps to Install Sharp AL-100TD Toner in Sharp AL-2050CS Multifunction Printer

• Step 1 – Open the bypass tray of your Sharp AL-2050CS and open the side cover.
• Step 2 – Remove the CAUTION tape from the front cover and remove the two protective pins from the fusing machine by pulling the strings upward one at a time.
• Step 3 – Press gently on both sides of the front cover to open the cover.
• Step 4 – Remove the new Sharp AL-100TD (AL100TD) Toner Cartridge from the bag. Remove the protective paper. Hold the cartridge on both sides and shake it horizontally four or five times. Hold the tab of the protective cover and pull the tab to your side to remove the cover.
• Step 5 – While pushing the lock release button, gently insert the Sharp AL-100TD toner cartridge until it locks into place.
• Step 6 – Close the front cover of your Sharp AL-2050CS and then the side cover by pressing the round projections near the side cover open button. Just remember that when closing the covers, be sure to close the front cover securely and then close 
• Step 7 – Ensure that the power switch of the machine is in the OFF position. Plug the other end of the cord into the nearest outlet.

After installing the new cartridge, do some test-printing to ensure that you have installed correctly the toner cartridge or there is no problem with it. Once done, you can now go back doing your print jobs.
