Sometimes printer errors happen when you least expect it, especially when you are in the middle of an important printing job. If this frequently happens to you, then you might just want to check on your inkjet print head.
The inkjet print head is the part of the ink printer cartridge that allows the ink to create the prints on the paper. Most of the time, this portion gets clogged causing different types of printer errors. So, if you think this is the reason for your printing problem, then learn how to properly clean your print head.
First of all, you can try using the cleaning program on your printer. You can do this up to 5 times and most probably your print head would be fine afterward.
If the first option does not work, you can turn off your printer and leave it for a few hours. The cleaning process might take time so after letting it stay still for awhile, you can try doing the program again.
You can also try removing the ink cartridge and clean the print head part with alcohol if it is found inside the printer. Then, you can use the cleaning printer tool again to check if it would finally work. If your print head is attached to the cartridge, you can soak it in hot water then wipe it before putting it back in your printer. Again, do the cleaning program to test the cartridge.
If none of these tips work for your cartridge, then maybe it's about time you purchase a new one. An inkjet printer cartridge won't be expensive if you go for a compatible or remanufactured type. You can still have the same printing quality only at an affordable price for greater savings.
