This question can be weird to you but it is actually possible especially when you do not change your printer settings every time you print.
Your computer and printer work together all the time to give you the best prints that you need. These also have settings that were made to create balance on your consumption of ink cartridges and papers depending on your printout. However if you do not normally change your setting, you can be stuck with that “Normal” or “Best” default function wherein the printer tends to use more inks than usual. This is actually a waste of printer cartridge especially when you are only printing files for personal use. So what should you do?
There are a lot of ways for you to counteract your usual printing habits. First, you must keep in mind why you are printing your file. From there, you can determine what printer setting you should use. If it is not too important and you just wish to share it with other people, better yet send it through email which is very common nowadays. Lastly, if you really need high quality printing for that material, you can consider an appropriate paper that will still conserve your inks while having outstanding prints.
So, have you answered the question already? If you are one of those many printer users who just quickly click the “Print” button, you must think twice from now on since saving on your printing expenses can be very helpful at times.
