Duplex, Network, and Extra Tray with the HP Color LaserJet CP2025 Series

In a series of printers particularly lasers, it either comes in three or four configurations. One is considered the based model, and then the rest would be like networked-capable, supports duplex, combined network and duplex, and lastly one that offers extra capacity. Depending on the demand or requirement of the user, there are ample of options to choose from. Certainly, there is one that will surely fit for their needs.

Hewlett-Packard is just one of the few manufacturers in the Print Industry that releases brand new machines every year, more likely. It is either in the first or last quarter of the year, when they often hit the market and surprise their consumers with new range of printing equipments. Just to give you an example, if you’re familiar with the HP Color LaserJet CP2025 series. Though we’re not certain when exactly it was released, the thing is it’s a complete series that comes with four printer models.

So what are the models included within this series? First, the based model is the CP2025 which offers features everything that a basic color laser printer could offer. Second is the CP2025N which is pretty obvious capable of network sharing. The third model is the CP2025DN with combined features of duplexing (two-sided) and networking. Lastly, the CP2025X with more paper capacity enough to support mid-to-high volume printing is perfect for medium-sized offices. If your demands don’t fit with any of these laserjets, just by guessing probably you need a monochrome printer.

All these printers are capable of printing at a speed of 21 pages per minute, and have 600x600 dpi color resolution. Except for the ones that support network connectivity, the rest including the based model only comes with hi-speed USB 2.0 interface. They are equipped with HP’s Instant-ON technology which enables faster first-page-out speed of up to 17.2 seconds, no need to warm-up. Other than the CP2025X with large paper input capacity, the rest come standard with a maximum of 300-sheets via the input and multipurpose trays.

However, it’s unfortunate that the HP Color LaserJet CP2025 series is already out of stock and have been discontinued. Though users who still own these printers can still find supplies such as HP CP2025 laser toners for their machines, supplies will run out as well soon.
