Fixing Common Dell Printer Errors

Dell printer users, especially those that are filled with Dell inkjet cartridges, would most likely experience the common printer errors “Low Ink” and “Reserve Tank”. These can even happen right after replacing the printer cartridges which can be really confusing. Here are a few tips on fixing the usual Dell printer errors.




“Low Ink”
1. Go to the Printer and Faxes folder that can be found in the Control Panel.
2. Click the Dell printer icon then select the Printing Preferences part found at the File button on the right corner of your PC.
3. Select the Advanced Options tab then proceed to the More Options icon.
4. Choose from the available options which are “Never display the print status” and “Display the printing status minimized in task bar”.

“Reserve Tank”
1. Check the box next to “Following Text” portion then Continue Printing.

Every printer user can never escape a printer problem, whether it is common or rare, but you can still keep your printer’s good performance just by doing the proper maintenance and using the right ink and toner cartridges.
