Common HP Printer Error Codes and Ways to Fix These

Owning an HP printer can have both its benefits and disadvantages. While you may get the printing quality that you want, you may also experience printer errors which can be a frustration sometimes. You may be lucky if you haven’t encountered one, but here is a quick list of the common HP printer error codes that you might meet someday. There are also easy tips on how to work on those annoying errors.

1. Error 02-This error tells you that you have some things to deal with the printer’s warm up problem. There can be a problem on the I/O cable or check the power outlet if there is a bad connection between the power supply and the printer.

2. Error 11-You do not have enough paper on your feeding tray; that is what this error is all about. There may also be some problems on the paper tray or the PS2 flag might have broke. Just check on those parts.

3. Error 14-Your HP toner cartridge might not be in its proper place or you just forgot to put it in your printer. You may also have the wrong cartridge so make sure you are buying the compatible type.

4. Error 30-There must be an issue with your postscript firmware if this error appears. You will need to get a new firmware chip for your printer to work normally again.

5. Error 52-This message is related to your HP printer’s scanner speed. It might not be functioning well so check the scanner motor or cables for defects.

These are just some of the famous HP error codes, but don’t worry because if you see that unfamiliar error message, surely there is already a way to fix that either by yourself or with the help of a professional one.
