Lexmark 150XL Ink Cartridges with Vizix Print Technology

Though you may not be aware of this breakthrough, Lexmark’s venture to develop a new innovation in the inkjet industry came into success. This gave birth to Vizix print engine technology which features fixed printheads that changes the conventional way of printing. It’s indeed a risky investment but look at what they do have right now through the said technology.

If you’re a fan of Lexmark, you should know that it is one of the firms in the print industry that offers low-cost ink cartridges. Going back into the game is a major achievement for the company since they notionally lose the track between the years 2007-2009.

Lexmark Vizix Ink Cartridges

According to Lexmark, these remodeled ink cartridges contained innovated inks with new formulation. Thus, they are expected to deliver above average quality for sharper and more vivid color prints. Another note worthy to mention about this technology is that with Vizix, ink dries faster than the usual which amplifies the printout’s resistance to smearing. In addition to its highlighted features, the new ink imaging system they offer primarily improves print engine for faster printing. No wonder why they claimed the lineup of inkjets as their fastest ever units.

We were not able to gather enough information about the Vizix technology but here’s we got. Aside from the printheads being fixed, they also reduce the height of the actuator stack. The materials used for this innovation were excellent such that the thermal expansion was lowered to a great extent. The nozzle plates are noticeably improved as well. It seems that almost everything was literally remodeled.

Included in the lineup are the Pro-715 and Pro-915 color all-in-one printers. Both of which uses the same model of cartridge particularly the Lexmark 150XL black ink which comes in low-yield and high-yield capacities. Just to add, if you want to get lower cost-per-page, consider using the high-yield instead of the standard.

Actually those two aforementioned models were equipped with the second version of Vizix. Probably by now you’ll find a wider range of inkjet printers from Lexmark that feature this great imaging system.

Since mainly, Lexmark focuses on its print supply products, it is quite reasonable that they invested more with developing their cartridges. But that doesn’t mean or imply such a thing that the company hasn’t made any improvements with their machines. If you’ll remember the rumors about Lexmark exiting the inkjet market, it is clear by now that it is just a false alarm.
